Roshan Digital Account Surpasses $9 Billion
Launched in September 2020, the RDA provides Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs) with a streamlined platform to invest in various financial instruments within Pakistan, including Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPCs), the stock market, and real estate. The initiative has been pivotal in bolstering the nation’s foreign exchange reserves and supporting economic stability.

As of September 2024, the SBP reported that RDA inflows had reached $8.7 billion, with $168 million received in that month alone. This upward trend continued, leading to the current total surpassing $9 billion as on November 7, 2024.
The SBP expressed gratitude to the overseas Pakistani community for their unwavering support and trust in the RDA. The central bank remains committed to providing efficient and secure banking solutions to NRPs, ensuring their contributions play a vital role in Pakistan’s economic development.
This milestone reflects the success of the RDA initiative and highlights the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in the nation’s financial growth.
